Waffle . . . ?

Waffle . . . ?
I recently saw the word "waffle" posted in a blog about this treasure hunt.

To "waffle" means to waver -- or to "go back and forth" -- regarding a
decision. FF has apparently mentioned that indecision is the key to
flexibility; this may be taken to mean that "waffle" may play a key role in
a good solve (although how "key" may be debatable). FF apparently has
also said that the person with a correct solve of the poem will move with confidence (in other words, that person will NOT waffle).

In the recent use of the word "waffle", I see a small hint about the hidey place, and even though I haven't eaten any waffle(s) in a long time, the
hint confirmed some correct solving of the poem . . . because that's what
hints do.

Not waffling. I’m not going to find TC. Want my phone back. End of Discussion

Maybe he's alluding to Waffle House. There are some in CO.

I like Waffle House. If I were hiding a treasure, I might use their menu to supply hints (steak and eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, grits, coffee, tea, chili, pie).

I see y'all's hints. Thank you for being subtle (at least this time).
