I'm sure he does key word searches now and then. Hell let's try an experiment. Start a thread with something you think is part of the correct solution and heel it like he does and see what surfaces. Others have tried this. It worked once for me recently and was only a couple days later. Of course imo

It wasn't "someone" who said Forrest was upset. It was me that said he was upset with me. I know that because he e-mailed me and told me.

What "someone" said was that Forrest tried to get me banned from CC. I'm not sure that there was a connection between whatever might have triggered that and I have no knowledge that the attempted banning comment is correct. As I said that came from someone on Harry's and was probably passed along and jumbled as it went.

If you really have the correct solution and send it to Fenn, or post it, he will NOT respond. At all to posts or email. If you are wrong in any way, he will respond.

I got that from a statement he made when one interviewer asked him something like, "What would you say if someone sends you the right solution?" He replied with something similar to, "I think I would be so surprised, I wouldnt say anything at all."

I hardly doubt Mr Fenn will respond to you with an honest answer weather you have the correct solution or not. I sent him a photo of an Ariel Drone pic a few weeks ago, I’m very confident in my search area, I also asked a few questions about the area that were in fun rather than trying to pry answers. one of two things either I am in his secret area which I completely think I am. And I have his image in my rear view mirror.. ? Or he was just disinterested in my solve. I am thankful I got no response.

As far as the Bracelets value. I think it should be offered back to him as a humbled gesture. It shouldn’t be used as a bargaining chip.. seriously. He just presented you with the biggest wind fall of your life, ya granted you solved his clues but keep in mind he put it there for you.

Now if he chooses to trade you for it for something well. Then that’s a different story.

I believe that he might have something in his collection I would love to have. It is a glorietta meteorite he has inside a window sill in his den. I have only seen it from corners of pics of his den but that is one thing I would love to have, or sitting bulls peace pipe. Ya right lol, or maybe the buffalo skin hanging above his couch. Mr Fenn. You are truly a mystical and impressive human being.

Within the last year I received an e-mail from Forrest regarding a post I made on chasechat that he didn't like.

On Harry's someone posted that I am one of only two CC-ers ever who Forrest personally requested be banned from CC so perhaps I am an aberration. (It's likely that whoever posted that on Harry's was passing on nth-hand information and the story was getting messed up. Dunno.)

What I know for certain is that Forrest somehow got word of a post I made here and contacted me about it.

Thanks for sharing that. I stand corrected.,

Cant believe anything those ppl over at H's tell ya.Those castoffs will say things to try and drive a wedge.
--I wonder if the alleged call to ban came around the time period of Randys disappearance? I remember reading a couple comments around that time that seemed like maybe they shouldn't have been posted on the public forum, and a possible betrayal of FF's trust. I could be wrong.

I didn't betray anyone's trust.

RE: how much for the bracelet?
FF may have offered to buy the bracelet -- as an incentive for the finder -- in order to be informed that the TC has been found. But I think the value of the bracelet will be maximized if it is left with the TC,
as part of an intact "treasure" that can be sold at auction.

RE: how much for the bracelet?
The bracelet is only worth the melt value of 3 Barber Dimes and a small chunk of turquoise. I estimate the value around 48.00 Swiss Francs. The fact that he has said he would like it back, does not dictate the finders actions in any way. I'm sure there are collectors out there that would offer more than what f has offered. My guess is it will end up on Ebay within the next 2-4 months. There is no COA stating the turquoise was acquired from Mesa Verde and no proof that Richard Wetherill ever wore it.

I'm not too concerned about whether Richard Wetherill ever wore the
bracelet, or whether Jackie Kennedy's lips ever touched it; I'm not much
into letting idolatry blind my eye(s).

What does COA mean?
