stanzas 5 and 6
imo there is only one clue in stanza 5 or 6 that lead to the chest, that one clue is very weak,i give you title to the gold ,stanza 5 is not even fenn talking, and stanza 6 is not fenn talking except i give you title to the gold,5 and 6 tell you that your in the right search area, imagination is more important than knowledge

Fenn said that the clues are contiguous, meaning that they touch each other. To me, that’s an indication that the clues are in stanzas 2,3,4. I read two hints in stanzas 5 and 6, “in the wood” and “worth the cold”, but no clues

Why do you think that it is not fenn talking?

Identifying the 9 clues is still one of the most difficult parts of this challenge.

I wouldn’t be thrilled with a 3 worded hint or two. I’d guess the hints are more deeply designed than that.
I think that will do the trick!

hey Buddy, great question, i have studied the poem very close,as i am sure you have, just as fenn says he borrowed some words from evetts on page 75 ttotc and quotes other people he has made it difficult to solve the poem, even though fenn penned the poem, stanzas 5 and 6 it takes imagination to solve, stanza 5 is one entity and 6 is another, one more thing ,i cant remember where but someone read fenn stanza 2 and fenn said sounds like 3 or 4 clues right there,so we got almost half the clues are in stanza 2 , 3 and 4 stanzas will take you to the treasure, 5 and 6 confirm your in the right area ,and like fenn said dont discount any of the poem, hope this helps

Nothing wrong with being risky from time to time while treasure hunting. Not to be confused with doing stupid or unsafe acts.
I think that will do the trick!

I would think the hints are at least one line long. Smile

stanzas 5 and 6
Hey, when Forrest made the statement "That sounds like 3 or 4 to me" is not the same as saying "There are 3 or 4”. I think he is misdirecting & not confirming.
