I think Forrest once mentioned something about Alice and wonderland maybe a verse or 2 from the book but I just can't seem to remember might of been in a interview. I'm thinking someone around here would know? Wheres loco when you need him....
It was at Moby Dickens:

"How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
How cheerfully he seems to grin
How neatly spreads his claws
And welcomes little fishes in
With gently smiling jaws!"

also discussed in detail in my book Finding Forrest Fenn.
Thanks wolf,
Yeah I was about to go there looking for it, moby Dickens I mean not your book lol.

Which makes me think of 2 things.
Go look in the back yard for Elvis and beowolf....

Then didn't Mindy say recently that she was looking around the pond area of Matteucci Galleries?

Its beautiful there I enjoyed my visit, like an oasis in the desert time just kinda drifts away there.

Yeah, it's very pretty there. Hard to imagine the pond was big enough for two alligators.

The inside of the gallery was pretty cool with all the little "Fenn touches" spread around--fireplace, pottery sherd threshold, etc...

And the tree through the hole in the wall out front was pretty cool, too.

But the parking lot was too small ... lol... Smile
