Look boys, are we playing high stakes poker or tidelywinks? If you come to play be prepared to anti-up!

This gives me an idea, maybe we just play for whatever topic is played. three rounds of raises (i.e. I see your canyon down and raise you a WWWH) and if no buddy folds, out comes the hand and then we see who has the best hand. This will determine who the real poker players are, who has guts to stay in, who will fold, and who will ultimately win.

Well I guess that is what poker is all about, Ricky thought the game would provide the winner enough info to retrieve the chest. I think it is a game a nerves, who will blink first. You are right, we need a reward of some sort to make it worth while, otherwise no one is willing to risk it - except me of course! lol, I mean poker stare!

Any poker player that thinks he can be professional black jack play is neither because if your a professional poker play you know numbers and if you know numbers than the only way to beat the house at black jack is to count cards and you need a big bank roll. And besides which convict is going to give away the location to more than a mil in gold?

Don't fall into the Monte Carlo fallacy...

Well I'm not a poker player, but I know the first thing that Maverick would do is play several rounds and intentionally lose so that he/she could observe and pick up other people's "tells"

Is this the point to put on the dark sunglasses...?

Deal me in...no tiddlywinks qualifiers from this chap.

I'll even up the ante and put the first $250 in the pot. One stipulation, a good part of the proceeds go to a brother in need here on CC...Chris Yates.
