LOL. My grandparents and mom were born in Texas and I never heard as many interesting Texanisms as you just spilled.
Shhh they aren't listening.

What time did you say they were going to raid the place?

They said, between 8am and 5pm.

Well, we're not waiting all day! Damn FBI.

Dadgumit, Peggy, I'm plumb wore out from opening the door every time you want some light in this room, and that dang skylight in my bathroom is useless!!

Just you wait, any minute now Forrest is going to blame the dogs for something. He was hitting my spice drawer again, ate too much nutmeg! Last time this happened he got it into his head to hide a darn treasure chest. If I knew where it was I would know where to put it!

Peggy has that look in her eye again! I wonder if I can blame it on the dogs.......
Shhh they aren't listening.

I just want to caption for the fun of it. I promise not to win my own contest *smile*

Peggy: Do you know where my Tairona and Sinu Indian necklace from Columbia is? I've looked everywhere.....

Forrest: I'm sure you haven't looked everywhere...but, I haven't seen it in a few years now.

(Peggy) Forrest, what do you mean you forgot where you hid the treasure?

(Forrest) Well, that is why the clues don't help. I just can't remember where I hid the darn thing, so I make up clueless clues.

(Peggy) You did not write the solution down anywhere?

(Forrest) Of course I did, the answers are all in the poem. All we have to do is figure out what I was thinking when I wrote it.

(Peggy) I guess we will never find it then. I've been trying to figure out how you think since we got married and I only get more confused each day.
