"But the two dogs caused the 'master' to bogey the 11th hole, not the 10th ?"

F's way of saying that the master was at the wrong spot. He was 'one-off'.

one-off = anomaly, one-of-a-kind, lone, singular, sole, solitary, special, treasure, aberration, bizarre, dog, solo, unexpected, unimaginable, unpredicted . . .

Close, but no cigar.

"I can't imagine anyone being within . . ."

The BG had a flask hidden beneath his binoculars. A flask is shown in the same story. That flask has MFC on it.

Let's pretend the flask with MFC belonged to BG.

When BG raises his binoculars he is in tight focus WITH . . . MFC.

And wild horses ain't gonna drag that one outta me.

Okay...I don't know what MFC is but I'm not gonna try to guess if even wild horses can't drag it out of ya. Smile

All I can think of is Master Field Controller...a shepherd. Lol

A vignette is an illustration used on a title-page or the end or beginning of a chapter.
A vignette is also a delineation, which is a 'word-picture', a 'description in words'.
This vignette is of kachina dolls.

Kachina dolls were given as gifts at dance ceremonies.

'Butterfly Maiden' is a Goddess Oracle Card.

Its message is one of Transformation.

The card reads . . ." You are experiencing enormous change right now, which brings great blessings."

(based upon the Hopi Native American Kachina)

Change is coming.

no worries, Ramona has worked on an impressive database and given me access to, and which I have contributed to also.

Kpro was saying that she saw a new searchable database somewhere on the net now... (not that Paddle guy search tool, which I bought his)
