But what about all the fame and glory. (And you aren't somebody until a few stalkers ring your doorbell.)

Honestly, I think the finder will be a hero type and welcome the accolades, but be humble and willing to share the credit with the whole chase community. He will tell everyone that he was lucky to figure it out, that everyone was real close, and that the real treasure was the adventure and not the chest.

(If you are that person, then I hope you find it)

Honestly I wouldnt want the fame and glory that went with it. Just a nice small cabin in the woods with my pup. Most here have been awesome so before disappearing for good id make sure to stop here to thank those who have helped, post my solve and give credit to where credit is do. And for those that did help me along the way, Id make sure to pay it back with a couple coins.

RE: The Bracelet
I would give it back to him immediately. I suspect that he would like to bequeath it to his grandson. And the history of that piece belongs in Fenn's family.

RE: The Bracelet
I'd like to return it in person. Not really interested in selling it to him, but maybe trade it for something cool from his collection if he would be agreeable to that.

RE: The Bracelet
Question:
Why hasn't Fenn done anything with his collections? He's given almost nothing away. How does he plan on dying with less than $50 in his pocket (how did he word that?)

Maybe, when coupled with the sentence immediately prior, he is hinting that he has too much to spend. Otherwise, spend the money you have to enjoy life.

RE: The Bracelet
I would give the bracelet back, and ask for a guided tour of San Lazaro Pueblo.
