The "find his car" Conundrum
(09-10-2017, 08:45 PM)ROLL TIDE Wrote: Apparently all of you comedians failed to comprehend the discussion you are so eagerly scoffing about.

The 'easy' that is being discussed, is what we see in the foreward to the new book. I don't recall any of us using the word treasure, or chest.

Just because some of you don't have what it takes to break away from the herd-mentality, doesn't mean that everyone else grazes in the same pasture that you do.

Grow the xxxx up and get over it.

"By god, I can't figure it out, so there aint nobody else here smart enough to figger it out either !"

"Poor little me, this shit is waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too hard for anyone to figger it out."

Go back to sleep, and quit trying to make someone else look like a fool .

Where is that TC? Nobody makes anybody look like a fool . It is easy, but where is that TC?

Oh wait I read a post a while back that the solve is not a TC but the meaning of life, the meaning of god, the meaning of happiness. If that is your TC, then yes, you got it and you are super duper smart and the rest of us are fools. IMO.

Dig a bit deeper and maybe the lightbulb will go off for you Kpro, and I say that in the kindest way...the forward is an absolute confirmation of something, and if you didn't get it, you still can if you give it some thought. Good luck!

I'd bet dollars to donuts that if he put it out there, it'd be argued away and summarily dismissed as quick as you could say "blanket" ... LOL ... I crack myself up sometimes!

Good luck to you rah rah. But it is a familiar tune. I know you can't get there until next year, but GL said the same. If a million was waiting, sorry, you would go get it. It is not easy by any means, it is scary some actual reputable people are saying otherwise. Maybe not scary but sad.

You are so right. People squeeze their solves to death.

RT didn't call anyone "fools" - He said some posters are trying to make others look like fools.

The only fool is someone to say the have it figured out, even easy, but don't have a TC. Yes, maybe a million is not worth your time but then why would it be worth our time to post on CC out constant knowledge be worth it. Bahhhh..... oh good grief. 7% club is out in full force.

RE: The "find his car" Conundrum
LOL. Gotta beat the stampede?! Funny!

There are at least 3 VERY confident searchers claiming some sort of clarity, and proclaiming if others do not see this clarity they need a new solve.

Unless all 3 happen to be in the exact same search spot, and if we give the benefit of the doubt to just one of those three, then the other two are blowing smoke and need a new search area themselves.

Or all 3 could be wrong, trying not to make themselves look like fools. Wink

RE: The "find his car" Conundrum
Notice that Preston says (in the next sentence) that Fenn did not have the logistics worked out. He wanted to leave the car there, but hadn't figured out how to get to the treasure location without anyone knowing.

So that spot isn't telling us much about the logistics. And what does "the final clue would be where" mean? It could mean the location is the clue, but it could also mean you have to go there to get the clue.

I favor the location itself being the final clue for that former version of the poem, but not for the present version of the poem. The fact that the final clue can change is probably one the more important points to learn from all this IMO.
