some would see a rainbow
some would see two beginnings/ends
some would see two c's
some would see two curved lines without a tangent

i see 4 short line segments just over the horizon
each having an opening point and a closing point about a quarter mile apart. that would mean between points B and C, D and E, F and G would be the only points not visible in this illustration or hidden on the line. only one is needed of the three to complete the poem with a remainder of 2. thats ridiculous rite?

Tight focus with a word that is key
Greetings from St Thomas, y’all!

IMO, this conversation missed a key point that is the word “with.” Focus is with a word that is key. Could be anything...book, telescope, imagination, etc.

take it(your view of the canyon) in(N) the canyon down(your view of the canyon to the S while moving N).
you must be the Thunderbird(fly) to the end of the line(rainbow) to find your blaze you must be wise

For those that don't know me, feel free to insert your statement about heard it before, prove it, etc., etc.

For those that do know me, though, you know I wouldn't say this without thinking I really had something. I now KNOW I have the right general spot (for the record and for the ones already around the area to know I'm serious, it's in Wyoming and not in Yellowstone), I'm close, really close to ending this.

In fact, tell @cowlazars , that @minotaurmoreno is pretty positive he has found the general area of where the chest is at and see what he thinks about that.

you better hurry there is someone within reach

RE: Tight focus with a word that is key
I doubt solutions outside of YNP Minotaur. Regardless, can't believe Park County isn't the "halt' in WWWH. Only community that makes sense is Sunshine within the county if the other hints aren't what I think they are. "End of my rainbow" and raining at borders hinting at start point. Things get hazy after that going South.

I wonder if you speak of a landmark trappers used back in the day that is shaped like an equine with a name meaning not mentioned on here - though that violates topynymy rule.

RE: Tight focus with a word that is key
Sounds like a lot to read, will take a look tomorrow.

Off top of my head from what I recall elsewhere: Fenn and Meeker older brothers drowned, Meeker's older brother named Oliver (named son Olive similar to John Charles story). One drowned in ocean and the other in the sea. Meeker's younger brother also died by Independence Rock in WY and there is a spot named after Meeker there - though it looks like a wild goose chase there.

If it were related to Meeker and the Oregon Trail - Brown may be here: https://www.wyohistory.org/encyclopedia/...raim-brown

http://wyoshpo.state.wy.us/trailsdemo/southpass.htm

Meeker associated with none other than Jay Cooke who Cooke City is named after.
