Breaching Experiment
As if beating your spouses wasn't bad enough, you work directly for the president of the United States handling daily communications that may contain top secret government information, and everyone knows that you beat your wife.

Frankly, I'm surprised that Trump didn't try to blame this on the FBI.

Nope, he'll just blame it on the Dems.

Trump is gonna fire John Kelly, another retired United States General, over lies and bull crap. Are there no morally sound people in the Republican Party? Are there no conservatives with more integrity than a porn star? Or a wife abuser? I mean, how in the world can Christian conservatives continue to support these degenerates?

All airline employees have a low level security clearance. If you allow your SIDA badge to expire, you are locked out of the airport and have to resubmit to a background check. It could take weeks waiting, without work, for the check to come through, so you can renew your badge, so you can work at your $12/hr job humping luggage.

Is everyone okay with staffers working next to the president who couldn't pass a background check to load luggage at the airport? America is a friggin' joke. I wish someone in the White House would start taking things seriously.

RE: Breaching Experiment
if you'd open your eyes you'll notice there's a lot of people out there doing things they shouldn't be doing. democrat, republican or otherwise

if you find yourself not noticing what goes on with your own political persuasion and only care about the others, then you've drunk too much kool-aid

and why blame christians for what is a human reality?

they have a right to vote just like everyone else, and to choose what they think is the lesser of two evils

it's always been that way

It's simple, Chris. I recognize faults in politicians whether democrat or republican, but it's the republicans who come off all sanctimonious and shit. Make America Great Again! Total F***ing Bull Crap. Drain the Swamp!!! I guess Trump figured he needed to fill it before he could drain it!! Total F***king Bull Crap!!

Christians share the responsibility for this train wreck because they bought into the republican line that they were gonna get their big tax break and get to eat their political organizing cake. They're total suckers, and they deserve to be called out for their lapse of moral judgement. Maybe in the end they get what they're really after, repealing Roe v. Wade, and I'm sure, in their hypocritical mind, it will have all been worth it. What a joke.

That's what all this comes down to, how much are you willing to compromise your values for what you seek to gain the most...money, power, moral authority...I don't see any of the Trump train wreck helping the people who need it the most - education, health care, jobs, housing etc, etc, etc. This is about filling bank accounts with money, and believe me, I will do it too. I'm not about to let this yuuuggge windfall pass me by at this stage in life, but when it comes time to get rid of these f**kers, that's exactly what I will vote for.

RE: Breaching Experiment
you have that backwards, it's usually the democrats who claim to have the moral high ground

this is why we have a hard time negotiating and reaching agreements on how to best run the country. they spend most of their time judging and finding fault as a way to win the argument, rather than focusing on debating what's the best philosophy, the best way to do things.

it seems to be the approach you take most of the time. look at everything you post

it's all about trying to prove you are right by judging and trying to say how morally worthless others are

maybe the democrats always try to claim the moral high ground, because they have no other viable options

they could argue their ideas on the merits, but they have a long history of ideas that have been complete failures

in regards to Trump, to argue that the policies he is trying to implement are bad, is a losing argument with the american public. so they have to try a different tactic

he's misogynist, or had affairs, or mentally unfit ...

and if people actually like the policies, then democrats put themselves in the bed where, for them to succeed, the USA has to fail

All I hear from you is rhetoric, Chris. The moral high ground is the only ground. There is no justification for behaving this way. Don't preach making anything great again if this is the game plan, and if it makes me guilty of passing judgement, then I'm okay with it.

Yeah, the USA has to fail. Familiar sounds from the previous 8 years, but the shoe's on the other foot now. All I've seen from Trump is a systematic erasure of all that Obama touched. The ACA didn't need to be crippled and dismantled. It needed to be fixed. If by failures you mean that the rich had to pay to be contributing members of this society, then sure, I'd imagine you would consider that a failure.

But let's not forget what this thread is about....

There was a man working in the White House who couldn't pass the background check required to work at the highest levels of national security. He physically abused at least two of his ex-wives, the president knew about it and continued to praise him after the details became available to the public. You couldn't keep your job at the prison if you behaved this way, why should we expect that those in the White House will. So, another Retired General is unfit to serve in the Trump administration - there's a cancer in there.
